What is “your responsibility?”
“Your responsibility” is on your price estimate to show the amount that has been designated towards your benefits by your insurer for the requested services. This may also be listed as “Estimated amount you will pay”. This amount can include what you pay toward your deductible combined with any coinsurance or copay. Keep in mind that insurance will not pay until your deductible has been met.
Any amount you pay for your in-network deductible, copay, and coinsurance will apply toward your annual out-of-pocket maximum. These amounts will vary depending on your specific plan and other services that have applied towards your benefits.
